Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Her initial inspiration was shadows reflected on grass. A few months later she devised a process that did not create the object she chose onto canvas in an unflat image. The subject is a mirror of its own, while the canvas is carrying the painterly interpretation of the object, particularly when it is a living thing or food item, for example, fruit or humans. Alexa Meade's painting style, that is a bit ephemeral in its nature, can be seen. The only work from her work that is preserved is the photo. Photographs and painting are together to produce two-dimensional flat surface which is trompe l'oeil. At certain locations, the three-dimensional space can be visible, like around the eye or on the hair. Meade frequently incorporates her painted figures within the three-dimensional space surrounding her. They interact within the self-created world. The boundaries between performance, photography, and installation is thus broken.
